Can i set my phone to ring longer - it is on the default Nokia ringtone. M<any times when i get to my phone it has stopped ringing - how do i extend the time that it rings?

I believe it is your operator that determines the ring time, not settings on your phone!
Its usually under the divert settings one of them asks you or a time before its diveirted to answer phone.
Most networks *will* let you change it others wont.
Tools > Settings > Phone > Call divert > Voice calls. You can then choose categories to check the status, and then Activate if you want to change it. Choose 'To voice mailbox', accept the number if required, then choose the divert time. It should request the new setting and it will probably be accepted; if not, you'd have to contact your network.
