whats wrong about n95? please specify.. tnx..
wrong
No Charging From the USB port ( Why Nokia why! )
Unable to use pass though for internet via Pc Suite.
Dismal Battery Life
Inability to add more smileys to the 1 key in message mode
Inability to disable the unlock when slide is opened
Other than that not much 😊
To add to the above...
An annoying hiss on the audio which is pretty much unforgivable on such a media oriented phone (I would really like to compare this to another n95 to see if it's just mine that sounds this bad, although I have heard many reports of similar hissing).
Creaky casing when pressing on the right hand side while the slider is closed (shame - it looks great and it's all fine when the slider is open).
Not really enough memory if you're interested in running multiple apps simultaneously (this appears to have been greatly improved in the n95 8gb model).
Not enough software that takes full advantage hardware (not really a fault of the phone).
Two large menu buttons on the front of the case, instead of just one. What's the point in that? And the icons on the menu buttons would make more sense if they were reversed (e.g. the circular shaped one on the right and the 4-way directional arrows on the left).
Okay, that last paragraph was just me being picky. I'm still torn between this phone and my old TyTn - they both have their good and bad points.
Edit: Oh, and I'm not too disappointed with the battery life, as I'm used to charging most nights anyway but again this may be improved on the new n95 models if the upgraded RAM and screen doesn't suck it all up.
My list would be:
Awful hiss on the audio, that I can't believe people don't mention more
Low RAM capacity that means that you'll struggle to run two 'big' programs at once, or anything at all alongside Web for long
Slider is wobbly on the right side
Apart from on one occasion, I also haven't found the battery to be a particular problem for me. I guess people who both want to use it extensively and also spend a lot of time away from chargers are those with the problem. No, it's not a good idea to run it for more than a day without a charge, but it's a good idea to charge any phone daily, unless you enjoy it suddenly running out when you need to use it heavily one day and haven't charged it in four.
