6120 Classic No SMS message count?

2 replies · 5,018 views · Started 11 October 2007

Just got one of these. So far pretty happy, but discovered a few things I don't like at all:

1. The LOG doesn't give a message count eg # of SMS sent... I use this to keep track of when I overuse it...

2. There aren't any pre-defined smileys for SMS

3. After opening an SMS, there is no "reply" button - instead you have to go through a menu of about 3 steps to send a text message

Is there something I'm missing here? Or are these features really missing from this phone?

To the best of my knowledge this is the best I can offer.

2. There aren't any pre-defined smileys for SMS - Happy and Sad Smilies can be generated by pressing the 1 key twice then * to scroll through them (or 3 times if you want a nose)
3. After opening an SMS, there is no "reply" button - instead you have to go through a menu of about 3 steps to send a text message The only shorter way to do this is to highlight a message in the inbox, this cuts out 1 step only though

If you download 'Conversation' from Nokia (it's free) to your contacts. This will list and number all SMS's sent and group under each contact. It works well.
