I'll be recieving an N95 8gb beta in the next few days, which I'm really excited about!
If anyones's got any questions about anything regarding the upgraded model, post here and I'll do my best to answer them. 😊

I'd be interested to know how well protected the camera lens is and just generally about the improvements (does the additional RAM make a noticeable differnce and how is the battery life)
Can you discover when will it be released in UK and on which network?
I would like to know if the internal GPS of the N95 8GB works better than the N95!

how did you get a hold of that model this early. i know it's not the final version, and you're prolly a tester. do you work for nokia? if not can i do this as well?

I was offered the chance to test, and obviously I jumped on it! And no, I don't work for Nokia. Sadly.

I've heard that November is the release for Uk networks. Voda and 3 are taking it. I'll check on the internal, but the GPS receiver hasn't been moved.
3 will take it globally...,

Picture of the PCB, with indication of the RAM chip could be interesting. It could provide a hint, on whether it would be possible to plant it in our N95 Classic.
If you also have the N95 Classic, please try such expiriment and report how it went. 😉
I agree in principle. My N95 is too new and has too much potential to be eclipsed - or redundant!
It just needs more ram! (and maybe a bigger battery - but that can wait).
Someone is going to do it. Why not YOU Nokia? This thread looks promising.
QUESTION
What would you be prepared to pay for a ram upgrade? (to 128 - or even 256Mb (or would that completely stuff the battery?)).
