My problem is auto unlocking, does anyone know of a way or software to stop the keys becoming active when slide accidentally openes when phone is in a pocket?

only by putting in a code to unlock the phone... not really a good workaround.

U can use software to set the timeout lock eg.after idle for 10 sec, it will autolock keypad, i have upload a shareware, Handy key lock.
or
U can set timed code input, not only lock keypad but the phone too...Tools -> Setting -> Security -> Phone and SIM -> Autolock period ( password is your phone lock code)
