E70 Mail for Exchange problem

Okay, got a couple of E70s to set up with MfE. It installs fine, receives email, but comes up with an error (Mail for Exchange: Feature not Supported) if I try to send email, and a very similar one if I try to access the Company Directory. All the settings on them both are the same, and the same as on a few other devices I've set up (E60, E61i, N95), and they all work fine.

I've read on the web (Google is my friend) in a few places that it works better with newer firmware versions, but I cant find out for certain whether this is the problem. Anyone else seen this?

The software version display (*#0000#) brings up this, same on both phones:

1.0610.05.07
30-05-06
RM-10
Nokia E70

The Nokia documentation just says it needs v1.610.04.02 or higher.

I've answered my own question by going ahead and doing the update anyway (the phones were on loan for a test, but they gave us free reign :evil😊. It fixed it. Seems that firmware 1.0610.05.07 may be supposedly OK, but it doesn't support everything...

I have the same problem but when I try to update the firmware using Nokia Software Updater it tells me that it has the latest firmware. Any ideas?
Where you able to solve the problem?

Well, I did get it fixed by updating the firmware. The phones previously had version 1.0610.05.07 (when they didn't work), but I dont have access to them at the moment to tell you what they got updated to. I might get hold of one tomorrow, if I do I'll have a look and let you know.

Mine is:
1.0610.05.07
30-05-06
RM-24
Nokia E70

I'll have to wait until nokia releases the firmware update for my cell phone. Thank you for all your help at least I know what to expect.
