Re Branding??

Hello, i debranded my Orange n95 about 5 months ago using Nemesis software and it all went perfectly.

My problem is that the microphone on the phone has just completely stopped working now, i'm paying for Orange care insurance but haven't i voided the warranty/insurance by debranding it?

Is there any way of putting all of the Orange crap back on the phone so i can send it off for repair?

Sorry if you've already had this question but i couldn't find any posts that could help me...
Any help would be really appreciated, thanks.

I'd check the details of the insurance. You would have voided the manufacturer warranty but not necessarily the insurance

The Nokia updater goes by these rules:
1. What is the current firmware version for the product code?
2. Is the firmware version on the device older or the same? If so, offer to install/reinstall.

If the current Orange firmware is the same V12 version as the Nokia firmware then it should be possible to possible to 'reinstall' the Orange firmware to a device with an Orange product code. If Orange are still on V11 (I think they are?) then you can't, because it would count as a firmware downgrade.

I changed the product code of my Orange n95 to a generic product code to get the V12 firmware update and Orange are still only on V11... So it looks like i can't do alot about it... I'll give the insurance a call and see what happens.

Thanks for the help:icon14:
