Well, after a long while having to use a Sony (pah) Java application to utilise Sky's Remote Record features, they have at last seen fit to release a native Symbian 3rd Edition version.
Type the following URL into your phone's web browser and download the app, which will automatically install.
http://mobile.sky.com/skyapp/skyapp.asp
The page will auto detect your phone and install the correct version.
My personal opinion of this application is that it is a vast improvement over the Java version and better than the old S60 2nd Edition that I used to use on my 6680.
It took a while to get there, but here it is 😊
All the best,
Rob.
Tryed it yesterday. Not available for 6110 nav. Worked on my N95 though. 😊
thanks for posting the link. I gave it a go and sky's phone detection won't let my 6120 have it. No worries, i intercepted the download when i got it for the n95 so i'll try that when i get in.
Got a copy of the software from my N95 (while it was downloading ) and Bluetoothed it to my 6110 Nav. Works a charm! Come on Sky, sort it out!😉
Hi, I know this is an old thread but hopefully someone can help me. I have a Nokia 6110, my wife has an N95. I want to do what the previous poster did, i.e. intercept the sky application whilst downloading to the N95 then bluetooth it to the 6110 (as sky have STILL not seen fit to include the 6110 on their compatible phones list despite it having the exact same OS!).
I have been unable to do this (i.e. intercept the download) and have now run out of ideas, how do I do it? Please!
Thanks in advance to anyone that can give any advice, this is driving me nuts!
On the other hand, if anyone has the actual .sis application file for S60 V3 please let me know - I can give you an e-mail message to send it to if possible.
Many thanks,
Paul.
