Finally Got It But With Some ?

4 replies · 2,098 views · Started 14 October 2007

So I finally got an N95 Purple/Plum. WOW It's LIGHT

Okay. I drained the battery, I charge it and it says it's finished in like 2 hours... Is that normal?

And I was told the maps were free(GPS)... When I try to use Vancouver maps, it said I had to purchase.

Can i just use a different program to do this? I own a Garmin and I got a different program that installs maps.

Also.... Should I wait for an 8 GB microSDHC or buy the 6 now?

Another also.. You know how when you slide it down(to get the pause/playy for music, etc.), the display switches so I can hold the phone side ways? Is there a way to do that without having
to slide it down? I wanna do that permanently..

And the Garmin I own also gives me info about what's best time to fish, etc, lol. Any other programs I can use on my N95 that can recieve info from the sattelites?

Thanks

To get the best from the battery keep it topped up as often as poss - don't let it discharge completely. You will extend its performance this way.

Maps are free. Navigation is chargeable. Nokia Sportstracker and loads of other progs use the internal GPS - search the forum for them and how to make the screen stay in landscape mode.

I own the MetroGuide North America. I added in the microSD already. I thought that was suppose to make the routing free... Bleh. I thought navigation/routing was gonna free 😞

And the landscape thing dont work. Im V 12 now 😞

It's a bad idea to drain a Li-Ion battery, you will shorten it's lifespan.
Charge ithe N95 every night whether it needs a charge or not.
