Hi all.
I have purchased the nokia ck-20w bluetooth car kit, but it doesnt seem to work with my nokia n95, all the wiring is connected properly, the problem is that it doesnt disconnect completely once the ignition is turned off, also the blue led light remains on. I have tried other phones and they work perfect all the time. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
If it works with other phones, the problem could be that N95. Check firmware, to see if you have the last version inside!
I have the firmware version v12.0.13 19-06-07 rm-159 unless there is a later firmware.
I have the N95 working with the CK-20W perfectly in my car. I'm on firmware 12.0.13 too.
Is the only problem that it doesn't disconnect when you turn off the ignition? And when you say it works perfectly with other phones I take it that the kit does turn off when you switch off the ignition when using other phones?
Sorry to appear dumb, just trying to clarify.
yes thats what i mean with the other phones the kit and led light turns of completely.
Any further suggestion Aurial regarding the nokia ck-20w kit.
Sorry, I'm a bit stumped on this one.
I was thinking along the lines of something to do with the ignition sensing line until you said it's working fine with other phones you've tried. When you've got it linked to your N95 does it switch off eventually or do you have to switch your bluetooth off?
i have t switch it of from the bluetooth menu.

Well I have to say I'm stumped. You say it works fine with other phones but not with your n95. Yet it works fine with my n95 and we're using the same firmware.
The only thing I can say, and I really don't want to say it, is that you might want to try a hard reset of the phone, or reinstall the firmware. I don't like to say this because this seems to be a lot of peoples answers to any problem, however in this instance I can't see what else the problem can be. Give it a go and let us know how you get on.
Thank you Aurial for your reply, but i have re-installed the firmware again, but still the same problem. I hav'nt tried a hard reset if that is different to re-installing the firmware i don't know.
