Hi.
Any tips on how to set up a camera at home and watch it live from your E90?
I currently have a Level1 camera and an account at no-ip.com so that i get connected to the camera regardless of my external ip at home, but i cant watch live feeds as E90 doesent support directx. I can watch snapshots but thats it.
Am i doing something wrong, is there another camera that does the trick?
Regards
Mike

Do you normally access the camera via a dedicated application or can you use a standard web browser? If you can access it via a browser it sounds odd to me that directX would have anything to do with it, more likely it uses an ActiveX viewer (perhaps what you meant instead of DirectX?) in which case only Internet Explorer will work...
I see an application called IPCamViewer for Nokia E Series- by One View Systems Pvt. Ltd but it supports only AXIS, Pixord and Dlink cameras.....
You should check you cameras manual and see if it allows you to view via a Java applet instead of an ActiveX control - if this is the case there is more chance of getting it to work on the E90.
oops, i mean activeX :embarasse
And the camera doesent support java...
Well i have given up on connect to this camera, but is there nobody that has a camera that can be viewed in E90?
All tips are welcome:icon4:
