restoring backup file to Nokia N95

I used to own a Nokia 6630 and now i got the Nokia N95. My questions are:

1. How can i restore a backup file, made from a Nokia 6630 using the Nokia PC suite, to my N95?

NOTE: I've tried restoring it using the new PC suite but the PC suite doesn't recognize the backup file.

2. If there is no solution to the above problem...How can i copy/transfer the SMS msges that i had copied to the computer from the 6630, to my N95?

NOTE: I copied the SMS msgs from the mail folder in the phone. I've tried installing an explorer in my N95 so that i can copy the mail folder from the computer to the phone. But i cant find the mail folder on the Nokia N95.

Your input on this is greatly appreciated guys. Thanks a whole bunch.

Mike

The Nokia 6630 is a different phone to the N95, and doesn't even use the same operating system (S60v3 on Symbian OS 9.2 is very different to S60v2 on Symbian OS 8.0) and so it's not possible to restore a backup.

You should sync your 6630 to the PC and then sync the N95, or alternatively use the N95's Transfer program, in the Tools menu. Unfortunately this won't transfer SMS messages, and I don't know any way of doing so.
