E61i Switch Profiles with # Key? — Nokia Eseries S60 3.0 phones (E50, E60, E62, E61, E61i, E70)

Hi,

i recently changed my E61 for an E61i and have not been able to sort out 2 small problems.

1. I am unable to switch between General/Silent profiles using the # key which i though you could do on most S60's these days? When i try it just types lots of #'s instead. :frown:

2. The Email Key opens up the Nokia for Business web page when pressed, dispite having it set to open a specified mailbox. When held down it DOES open a new email, but I have been unable to get it to open my default mailbox. No idea why it would do this, but seems quite a common problem.

If anyone could shed some light on the above issues I would be very grateful 😃

i've heard others of similar complaints but no solution offered so far, sorry. mine is working fine though.

I guess ill have to look out for some firmware updates in the future.

Muy current version is: 1.0633.22.05 dated: 15.02.07

You could change the product code and flash to a non-branded FW.
