I had my N95 connected to my laptop via USB cable & PC Suite, and was transferring some video files into the phone.
Unfortunately the battery on the laptop must have died midway through the transfer.
Now the phone is acting rather strange.
Here are the symptoms:
- when I open Gallery- nothing appears. I see the icon and the title Gallery at the top of the screen, and the 2 soft keys show'options' and 'exit' but nothing in the main screen. When I click exit nothing happens.
- got a new text message, but even though I'd opened it, it was still showing as unread in Messages, and the message icon kept showing. After a few attempts I got it to appear as unread and icon disappeared.
- can no longer open GMail application (installed on the memory card)
- calendar won't open
- web browser struggles to open
- when I look to see what active applications are opening (by holding menu key) it shows an icon that looks like a jigsaw piece with a red square next to it, with the name '!jes-145-jav...'
Still looks like I can make and receive calls.
Probably quite a few other things if I bother to look.
Any suggestions?
