MP3's dumped to memory card

Hi Guys

If i dump MP3's to my phone via PC suite, should i place them in a certain folder, or is there something i'm missing on the phone as i can open the tracks via the gallary and not via the Music player?

In my N75, I see the same thing if I copy MP3's to the micro-SD card in a card reader, then put the card into the phone. If I connect the USB cable to the PC and select disk drive (?) instead of going PC suite, then when I disconnect it asks if I want to rescan the card for files, and it then finds my MP3s. This is on a Cingular branded N75 with firmware 10.1.273.
