I have just changed my entire facia. It was quite easy and the phone looks brand new.
However my phone does not 'wake up' when I open the slider nor does it prompt me to lock the keys when I close the slider.
Anyone shed some light on this?

do a search on the forum for something like 'slider not working' or that kind of thing... Im sure theres been a couple of people with various issues to do with a magnet or summat like that not connecting the phone back when the slider moves... anyway... have a search.

There is a magnet that help to ask for keypad lock, its on the right side of the screen (Quite close to VGA camera)....
U can test it by taking a magnet towards the right side of the screen (Quite close to VGA camera) and slowly move the magnet away...U will notice that the phone will ask for keypad lock
For N80 user, Please do not put any magnetic things together with ur phone -whether is in bag or pocket...it will unlock the keypad n u might find yourself pressing some keys without ur consent :tongue:
