Using Always-On Mail Personal Edition

Hi Folks

Just changed my handset to an N95 from a P990i , and have lost my Blackberry Connect functionality. So I am looking for an alternative.

I know I can just Nokia's default Mail software and use IMAP and automatic retrievel and it works ok so far but I was looking on the web and found Always-On Mail Personal Edition . I installed it and created an account and it worked fine too , but it only seems to work with a single mail account .

I see there is a Always-On Mail Profesional Edition , does anyone know if that supports multiple accounts ?

Is there any advantage in using this type of client over the standard nokia IMAP email client (that comes with phone) ?

Cheers and regards
Martin

If you use MS Outlook on a desktop PC then I couldn't praise the product I use highly enough for push email.

Its called Emoze - youll easily find it via Google. Gives me realtime push email, diary and contacts sync for my N95 (just like using a Blackberry). They have a client just for the N95 and it's great ! :icon14:

Oh, and just to add - I have 5 email accounts configured in Outlook, these all get seamlessly forwarded to my N95 using Emoze, and its totally free !!

Hi Tbird1

Thanks for the reply . I dont use Outlook , I use IMAP accounts hosted externally.
I had a look at emoze allright and it looked good .

I have setup Always-On Mail personal edition on my phone and It works quite well so far BUT i am more curious if there is any real advantage using this over using the default Nokia email app.

Am I saving on battery and data charges by using this ?

thanks
