Smartphones Show 45 is now live, with a roundup of video from the London show last week, plus my hands-on video review of the Nokia N95 8GB, including video of two of the upcoming N-Gage games. A fuller text review will follow on AAS mid week, by the way. Enjoy!

I was in my local Tescos when I noticed you'd added this post. So I downloaded the 45mb file on my E90 over 3.5G (while eating my breakfast in Tesco) which only seemed to take a few minutes then I watched your video with sound being relayed via my Plantronics BT headset. What a great experience the E90 is. With the advances Symbian are developing and the improved Nokia hardware I can't wait for the E91 or at least the next step in the E90 range 😊
Thanks. Once the new firmware is properly available for the E90, I've got a big feature in mind looking at all the things it does well and enhancing all the things it can't do very well.....
"This may mean that a handful of viewers on older smartphones (mainly Nokia E61/E61i)..."
...err, I thought the E61i was only announced in Feb this year...
Ironic, isn' it, that I can't watch the Smartphone Show on my smartphone because I have a new smartphone...
Any solutions anyone?
Yes, sorry, the E61i is a glitch in the matrix - a newer device with relatively old software.... and Nokia didn't see fit to give it the same video codecs as the E90 and all Nseries etc.
Sorry, but there are tech reasons why it needs to stay H.264, in that continuing to go the H.263 route with my video software means taking the video through three conversion steps instead of one, with resulting loss of quality and hassle for me.
H.264 is such a wide cross-platform standard now that I'm pretty safe in staying in the format.
Sorry again.

Hey it is not working on my Nokia E65 as well. Just the sound ... Thats WEIRD.. and pretty disappointing as well..
I will be buying this Nokia n95 anyway 😊
That Dire Straits spoof at the start of the show was hilarious.
