Standby buttons - how to add other apps ?

4 replies · 2,632 views · Started 21 January 2003

I've looked for ages for a program to allow adding ANY program to the left/right buttons when in standby mode..

I just want to have the Hantro thing on the left, and either Photographer or CameraFX on the other.

Can't find anything - even eProfiles has a set list without choosing your own.

Anybody know how this can be done ?

Standby mode, what do you mean by that?
If you are looking for a way to change the shortcut keys,i think it can be done with active desk.

"Standby" is when you are not running anything and have your background wallpaper etc on the screen.

I looked at the website for Activedesk and it seems to say that you can only configure one of the buttons - is this correct or does it allow you to alter both of them ?

I know what standby is,i was just confused because you specfied it.
Why dont you download the trial and try it,i dont use it,and i dont intend to use it.

Yes you can only change one button but thats the right button when activedesk is being used. You cant assign any additional application shortcuts to the left and right shortcut keys in standby mode even with activedesk.
