Converting movie to 800x352 ?

Hello,

I am struggling with converting my DVD`s to a format that my E90 understands. Either the picture is there, but no sound. Or no picture, but only sound.

I am using ffmpegx for macos x. Would be nice if someone with mac could tell me what settings I should use? Or is there a better converting program for macos x?

Regards,
Amix

I am afraid that this not going to solve your problem, but for the 800x352 pixel resolution the best to use is mediacoder, a free tool.
Actually I have the e90 setting. Let me know if you need it.
The problem is that it is for PC.

You also can find many movie samples optimized for E90 there.

When you want to convert a DVD to a movie for the E90, you can use Handbrake, which is a free program. Be shure to use the MPEG4/AAC option, and ffmpeg for the encoder. When you use xvid for the encoding, you get either no video, or no sound.

When you want to convert an existing movie ( .mov, .avi, .wmv... ) to a movie for the E90, you can use VisualHub to turn them into MP4 files.
