New E90 with screen marks

I believe I have the V2 case with the bevelled edge - the edge is higher directly under the raised keyboard keys than at the edges.

I understand that the purpose of the raised edge was to stop the keys touching the screen and leaving grease-spots (or even damage). Doesn't seem to do that for me - I'm wiping off marks all the time, and I'm not *that* greasy.

I find it odd that the rubber feet on the screen panel don't have a raised surface to sit on...

Have I actually got the original case?

I have the same case, same problem: going to give my local Nokia Service Centre a call and see if they can do anything. Bigger rubber feet!

Me too :frown:

Seems silly that they have redesigned the case , but not solved this

Think I'll get a screen protecter

The other thing I have noticed is the battery seems to rattle about in the case a bit too - easy enough to sort out , but thats not the point :con?

You're right: I just noticed this! It's like they updated the lower part of the case (with the keyboard) but not the screen part. D'oh.

The battery clunking can be stopped by folding up a bit of paper and wedging it down one side (I used the side nearest the battery cover catch). A bit cheesy for such an expensive device, but practical.

And I've ordered a screen protector - although that'll make the screen thicker and even more likely to touch the keys, at least it'll get damaged rather than the glass.
