Significant bluetooth problems on N95NAM

3 replies · 2,407 views · Started 24 October 2007

Hey team,

Is anyone else having bluetooth issues? My issue is that it keeps dropping the connection to my bluetooth headphone (Nokia BH-900). It will connect for a few minutes, and then drop.

Tried rebooting, reconnecting, relinking them... no dice.

Sometimes (for no particularly obvious reason) it works great, and I can stay connected for hours, but most of the time it stinks.

Same problem with car profile in my new BMW X5...

Is this common? Is it a firmware thing? I'm on the standard NAM FW:
V10.2.006
22-08-07
RM-160
Nokia N95 (19.01)

Thoughts/help?

TIA

P

Mine has actually been full of static and would occasionally cut out and reconnect. Very Irritating.

I did have some bluetooth problems with my 95-1 on v20.x .. but now on v21 everything is fine ..

I am not sure what the latest version Firmware is for North American models.
You could do us (and your compatriots) a favour and find out. 😊

Good Luck!

i cant tell if he has the n95-1 or -3. i think he has -1, which if so, he should change his product code and flash to v21 IMMEDIATELY😊 if its the -3, then no firmware exists really. there is a v11, but its a waste of time. my -3 never gave me any BT problems AT ALL. but my n95-4 seems to be giving me a few. it will randomly disconnect the BT connection by itself. its semi common occurance, but it still annoys me. they are nokia stereo BT headphones.
