i love my n95, it does almost anything concievable,
also 3rd party apps, computer synchronization, interchangeable faceplates,
it's fully customizable! but where is this drawn? has anyone ventured to go where angels fear to tread? i'm talking hardware mods.
if only i could go back home and check with local geniuses, i'd volunteer my
n95 as the guinea pig.

but what i'm really saying is, has anyone tried modifying the hardware on the n95, either invasive or non-invasive?

.. optical zoom lens to work on the 95 ..

I could envision an optical zoom lens as an independent device (that's not saying it would be easy, of course), but a touch screen would require significant changes to the phone OS, so I doubt that could happen.

Reprogramming shouldn't be that hard although HACKING INTO it will be. But we've been able to use other input devices in the past, ie bluetooth keyboard. The only difference is they use 3rd party apps like 'stowaway', and that they have to be running in the background. To me this is a more preferable way of doing it since it doesnt reengineer the os it stays intact and will only need to run another app. Personally i don't mind background apps . I have a bunch running right now. But that's just me. What do you guys think?

hardware hack #1 would surely be bigger battery with bigger battery cover
