GooSync adds Contacts support

GooSync, the Java solution for syncing your smartphone Calendar to Google Calendar, has just had Contacts/GMail-contacts support added, although you do have to sign up for a 'premium' account. Now, Google, what about a proper SyncML server so that we can come to you directly? (via IntoMobile)

Just a couple of points...

  • GooSync isn't a Java solution, it's a syncml server
  • Contacts are not synchronised to gmail, they are accessed via the goosync site

I'm looking for a free or not-too-expensive software for sync my N73 calendar with Google calendar; how good is GooSync in your opinion? Is it the better choice for this task?
