N95 comes with Quickoffice viewer and I am interested in upgrading to the full packeage but as Quickoffice appears to be a very large program I'm worried about how much space this will tak on my phone. Does the upgrade just unlock the program already installed?
Is QuickOffice fully loaded on delivery?
I think so, but I'm not certain.. but even if it doesn't, from what I can find, QuickOffice v4.5 uses up about 3MB memory, which isn't a big deal as the N95 has plenty of phone memory (unless you don't have a microSD card for data, and so are using the phone memory for everything). So it shouldn't be a problem anyway.
Note that the preinstalled version is QuickOffice v3.8, and that's what you'll get if you upgrade to editing. However, for barely any greater cost, you can upgrade to QuickOffice Premier v4 using Quickmanager on the phone (at least on mine, I'm getting offered £13.16 to activate v3 and £19.98 for v4). I'd just go for v4 and not worry about the memory.
(You can actually check your free phone memory by opening the phone menu, then going Options > Memory details > Phone memory; I still have 64MB free on mine).
Thanks for that! Very interested for 20 however when I try to upgrade I get message ''catalogue update failed. Try again. I've tried many times but get the same message has anyone else experience any problems?
