A friend of mine will give up his E61 for iPhone when it comes into Europe. While I think E61 is very suitable for professional usage (mobile office), iPhone is more entertainment-oriented?

So why don't you wait until your friend gets his iphone then you go and play with it, then YOU decide whether YOU like it better than your existing phone.

I don't think you'll be too impressed with the virtual keyboard!
A friend of mine got one unlocked for Canada and I played with it over lunch... The UI is snappier than what's on the iPod touch but the iPhone won't replace my E61i anytime soon.
By 'entertainment' you mean doing things like sending MMS, having a video convo, taking decent pictures, sending them or other stuff via bluetooth, or simply having any ringtone you like...
...dont get the iphone.
Because it cant do any of the above.
