Phone calls disconnected!!!

Hi everyone,

I get my phone calls disconnected on a daily basis.:con?

Is this a frequent problem?

What should I do? Does anyone have any experiance with this issue? Did anyone succeed in explaining the problem to the service provider..........and get the machine fixed or replaced???

Can't wait to read about your experiance!!!

(I have the latest firmware on a 2 month old N95)

P.S. does it have anything to do with the dual network mode?

yeah it may be the dual network mode, if it switches between the 2 there may be a chance of disconnection, try changing the network mode

hi,i logged the same fault with tmobile last week,no reply as yet.this is my second n95 and with the first i couldnt hear callers, now every phone call i have is dropped when the signal switches between 2 and 3g.switching to gsm solves the problem but i assume if you surf the internet it then wont be at 3.5g speeds!.the guy i spoke to told me not to return my handset as other customers with differnet handsets had the same problem..regards..simon

:frown: Sadly enough, you're right: if you're having this problem you're not alone. I had this problem about 4 months ago as well. I logged a message on some different forum pages, this one including I think.
But anyway, I got the same response from all around..."it's the hand-over problem between GSM and 3G network". But in my opinion a phone should be able to cover such a "hand-over". Hopefully future firmware will take care of this....? (or is more operator related?)
