Recycling old communicators?

Going to trash your ancient communicator?
DON'T!!
You can bring it to new life, actually never letting it die.
And... for free! 😊

I just invented & created a PersonalJava program with, in conjunction with a BT GPS receiver, turns your phone in a car anti-theft system.
It works fine on my Motorola a1000 (UIQ) phone: I call the phone, and it replies by sending its Latitude and Longitude to a predefined number. 😎

Program is based on JythonQ, a Python port to PersonalJava; although designed for UIQ phones, as communicators do support PersonalJava they should also support JythonQ.

Program also makes use of Javaphone API, and AFAIK communicators do support it, too (please correct me if I'm wrong).

If somebody can verify if JythonQ actually runs on communicators, I'll try to pack my anti-theft into a .SIS suitable for communicators.

You should also verify if JavaBT 3rd party libraries are supported by communicator:

Just let me know! 😉
