N95 Petition - worth a look !

I have never seen or heard of an online petition actually working for anything!!

Actually these things do work, especailly for DVD's. QI (UK series) and The Equalizer were (are to be) released due to demand. Don't know if companies such as Nokia would take notice but it takes 30 secs to sign so why not give it a go?

Thats quite a bit different. Thats demand, for something which can make money.

Possibly the best example is the UK government petition site. It was something to do with cars, and many millions voted (literally millions).

The government replied and said tough.

I don't see the point of a petition to Nokia about 'issues' like this.
Anyone can say they want more battery life and operating RAM and say it about any device.
These smartphones are power and memory hungry devices that rely on the owner to use them effeciently.
I don't believe that the majority of users understand what that means and consequently expect the manufacturer to address their own misunderstandings.
The 'updated' N95 will have issues and there will be the same grummbling from users. 'Why didn't Nokia do this or that?'
I have a device that is perfectly adequate for my purposes and I use all the facilities every day.
I for one thank Nokia for the original N95 which has proven to be invaluable.
The N95 8Gb is fine for those coming to smartphones for the first time but as an upgrade it isn't worth it.
For those who have grummbled so much you should have chosen more wisely.

I've signed it, dunno if it works or not. But its true N95 is one of the most expensive phones available and if I bought it with a wobbly slider a few months ago and my friend buys it much cheaper without that defect, i think its worth signing the petition.

They were protesting against proposed road pricing schemes. That's pretty much the answer to everything on the Downing St ePetitions site: 'Thanks for your thoughts, we value your input. However, we won't act on it, because we're right and you're wrong.'

Thats the one. My opinion is that the site was setup to let people think they have a choice in something.

Can we add to the petition, the ability for the N95 to allow time travel? I think this feature would prove invaluable. What have Nokia been playing at???

Sorry, thats counter productive. If it was, they would forward to the best nokia ever made, and then go backward and give it to themselves before its released.

Not in their interests you see...

Theres over 1 million N95 users around the world.

The web has the ablity to reach every one of them.

If they have a problem they often have a look on a web site such as this.

If people sign Nokia have to do something or they risk getting a bad rep. I know they are taking notice as i have just had the petition booted from the Nokia.com web site forum, they have also warned me against any further such posts.

If these petitions didnt worry Nokia then they wouldnt of cautioned me and removed almost all my posts.

The N95 is a fab peice f kit but people who say it has eough battery are wrong full stop peroid end of story.

Go on sign it i dare ya !

PS. 24 hors ago there was only 50 odd signatures on it.

The word is getting out the petition is snowballing in size and its starting to move.

Where we're going, we don't need phones.
