Interesting. Mine is over 3 months old, but I dont think I have anything like that.

I will check in the dark for the paint fading on the main button, but I havent got anything like those marks on the sode of the screen.

Silly question, but have you tried cleaning it? Could be a bit of dirt building up.

I dont think its rust, I reckon that bits plastic if you ask me. In fact, Im almost certain its plastic. So it could be paint rubbing off again.

yes, tried cleaning it, it just sat there. Now that black thing start to appear at the top edge of the screen as well. It doesn't affect functionality, but it did made my Navigator look less handsome.

Mmm. I do reckon its paint on plastic rubbing off. Only thing to suggest is a case or cover of some sort, but perhaps a bit late now.

only 3 months old?? how about taking it to nokia or raising the issue with your operator. it might be one of a 'bad' batch of phones. mobile phones are supposed to be robust for at least the warranty period. if the paint starts peeling off, then its definitely not a good sign.

I raised a case like this with Nokia about 8 years ago. Still waiting for their reply... Call me Mr. Patient!

In your case I would consider buying a replacement front cover. It's not that expensive and you may be lucky enough to get a cover from a new and improved batch. On top of that, you'll love your 6110 again 😊 But maybe that's just me being anal 😊

My phone case already worsened, to the extend that I don't care about it anymore. Some paint on the side (main body) also come off...

I've learned to live with some physical deformation of the phone.
