WLAN code

When I want to connect to the internet using WLAN (wifi) on my homenetwork I am asked to enter a keycode. How can reset my n95 and router that I need not do that every time.:con?

use the connection manager, on available WLANs, select your WLAN and hit options > define access point, then your wlan will be listed as an access point and you can select it instead of "search for wlan"

yeah, so long as you define your AP you can add your privacy key in so you dont have to keep typing it in all the time. :icon14:

Thank for your reply but unfort. it doesnot help me. After I selected the accesspoint it ask voor a predefind shared keycode (in dutch 'vooraf gedeelde sleutel'😉 everytime I select my home accesspoint.

What do you mean by'"define your AP"?

AP = access point.

MENU>TOOLS>SETTINGS>CONNECTION>ACCESS POINTS

Then go OPTIONS > NEW ACCESS POINT

Choose WLAN SECURITY MODE

and you can add you key in their and it wont ask anymore...

Of course.. you might need to set your phone to English for this one? 😉

Haha, thanks it worked. Sometimes simple things can be quite complex even in dutch.
