App to GO TO STANDBY screen when executed!

Hmm. There's an option to run Menu on Profile switching in Best Profiles, but I can't see one for the Desktop / Active Standby screen.

You may have to put in a request to SmartPhoneWare for that one.

There's no option because those are APPLICATIONS found in the system. And "STANDBY" doesn't have an application to trigger that state, so that's why I need a simple app that would do that, in order to invoke it from BestProfiles...

Because that is not automated and some unwanted applications are left hidden and not closed. I think the thread starter is trying to use Best Profiles to associate opening of specific programs to his existing profiles, and returning to Standby mode without going through all the manual work of hiding and/or killing all the involved applications. Best Profiles only open applications, it doesn't hide them for you.

By using application association with Best Profiles, he could invoke different applications when choosing different profiles manually (not from Best Profiles). However the problem is you are left with the chores of hiding of these applications manually yourself after that. Thus, an application that specifically hides and/or kill selected applications and returning to the standby mode will be a real benefit. Of course this application will have to kill itself at the end of the procedure to be truly useful.
