I often send text messages using PC Suite.
When one types the first 3 or 4 letters a recipient's name, the programme suggests the name from your address book.
I have a certain name in my address book that the programme does NOT suggest, even if I type the recipient's name in full.
What can I change. I have tried making his mobile number the default number.
Check that name if its well written, without any first blank space, for example.
I have deleted the whole contact and re-entered the name and number. Still the same.
So far there are only two entries that seem to do this. Very strange.
Are there any other entries in Contacts with the same name?
I checked this issue in Nokia PC Suite 6.85 version, it is working fine for me...Hope this is not occuring in the latest version of nokia pc suite.. May i know, in which nokia pc suite you are facing this issue?:icon14:
It works fine on mine (6.85) as well, you could try typing in the first three letters, say, then pressing the up or down arrow oon your keyboard, could wake the drop-down box up.
I do have a different problem on 6.85, which I didn't have on 6.84 which is that most of the time it doesn't let me open messages from the folder. It'll not nothing then a few minutes later bring up 'unable to open message'.
Check that the number assigned to that contact isn't duplicated elsewhere. I had a similar issue when I had my folks' landline number under both Home and Mum in my old phone
