a few weeks ago, my car was stolen, and in the boot "trunk", was my laptop, my n95, and other items.
i reported it to the police, they said they would do there best to find the car, in the mean time i phoned from a landline to vodaphone and told them what happened and they said they would turn my phone of, i think they mean kill it, so no one else can use it, and they said they did that.
i got in touch with the insurance people and they said that i can claim on the items and the car.
ok, now the police turns up, and HEY they found my car, it was joyriders, tossers, anyway, they said all my belonging in the boot"trunk" were there,WOW
so nothing was missing i was a happy man.
so i phone the insurance and told them, then i recharged my N95 and when i used it it was dead, i phoned vodaphone and told them what happened if they could switch my phone back on, and that i could prove to them by faxing them the police report, as my n95 is on PAYG, i really need it.
BUT vodafone uk said they caould not reverse the signal and that my phone will be dead forever and i sould buy a new one and this time get it on contract with insurance..
is this true can vodaphone do this to me, i have my phone back, all i want is it to be re-activated....
what shall i do, i might go to my solicitor and get him to send a letter to vodaphone uk
any ideas friends.........
thank you in advance
