Sync Problems

It was all fine at the start but now the sync starts and the contacts are ok and then it fails before the calendar is syncronised, saying that the phone is not connected but it is. Now I cannot get my calendar onto my phone and it keeps crashing with the error Kern-Exec Reason 3, also if you try to put a new appointment in the date is 31/12/2100 at 23:59. HELP!!!😡

Hi!

The previous poster is trying to sell you their warez, but as a customer of theirs I strongly suggest you stay away from them. Oxygen Phone Manager crashes all the time, is overpriced and be careful that to have the full version (the one that has all the functionalities) you have to fork 99 EUROS! Else, you get cheap, crippleware versions with limited functionalities.

Also, be careful as they use deceptive marketing. They have no shame in selling you a software for a UIQ SonyEricsson phone, but if you own a P1i or a P990i you have to buy a different kind of program, obviously more expensive.

Finally, their customer support is pathetic, and if you want them to answer your questions, you have to pay a fee even if the software does not work. Be careful, very very careful with Oxygen!

Cheers

Right now all UIQ3 phones are supported in all the licenses, even in the individual license. Earlier their support was possible starting from a Family license.

Thanks for the heads up. I REALLY HATE IT when companies try to sell their warez through forums.

All the first poster needs to do - to start with - is to download the lates - free - version of the SE software, uninstall his current version, reboot and install the new version. I bet that fixes his problem.

People like Oxygen are like those fkrz that send software that pops up on your PC sayig that it is infected. They only want your money and to do an inventory of your PC which they then sell. flame off

Pete

Check the date and time on your PC, make sure they are the same as that of the phone before sitting the phone on the desk stand. Also check you dont have an unread message in your inbox.
