Nokia N73 switching off

[FONT="Book Antiqua"]I have had the N73 for the last couple of months working ok. It has version 4 of the software. Last week it started to switch itself off for no reason when in standby. Has anyone else had this problem? What is the resolution?? :redface:[/FONT]

my n73 is nearly 8 months old. (v3.0638.....) and i'm also facing the same problem for the last few months.

anyone any idea??

Hi,
I had the same problem a few months ago, which eventually got worse and wouldn't manage even a few minutes of uptime.

Soft resets and hard resets did nothing

I even tried a reinstall of the firmware which made no difference, in the end I had it sent off for repair, and recieved a new one, so it must have been quite critical.

I had the same problem and was told by t-mobile that it was a 'power down' problem, apparently it is common on nokia phones. They didn't query it just changed the phone.

I have had the same problem on my wifes phone solved it by cleaning the battery contact and updating the phone software
