Firmware won't update

7 replies · 1,720 views · Started 12 November 2007

I noticed that the latest firmware available is 12.0.0.014 and check mine to find out it's on 11.0.0.026. I follwed the instruction for updating the firmware by downloading the Nokia software, backing up my phone etc but when it checked my phone it said it had the latest version.

Is there a reason I can't get the latest firmware?

I have downloaded the nss software and followed the instructions but once i do a read to confirm it worked i have the same code as before. Have tried 6 times now but nothing. Any ideas? :con?

you just stick the euro code (or whatever code you want) in the box and write it. Then unplug it and hook it up to NSS..

YOU MUST check the WRITE box .. otherwise its an exercise in futility!

Good luck!😊

Aye, dont forget the check box next to the box your writing too... v, important.

Found the problem. You can't copy and paste the code, it has to be put in manually (or at least I had to) and it works.
