Do you think it is possible to replace the back housing of a N95-1 by the N95-3 and the lens cover without the shutter to accomodate the larger battery in the N95-1 ?
I would like to get the extended battery.

no, there are the same connectos but from n95 8gb is bigger (fat?) and cannot be placed.

in the leather case(Nokia supplied with my handset) .. so it'd look even better, ie exactly the same, than that horrid crystal thing (or maybe that was just for demonstration purposes?)

It is clear that we can use the new battery with the N95-1. The only problem is the back housing and the lens cover with the shutter. So in changing the back housing and the lens cover by the one coming with the N95-3 , it will work fine with the BL-6F. But the are the parts exchangeable like that ?
