Predictive Text Dictionary

Hi people,

Just wondering if there is a way of resetting the predictive dictionary on the N95?

I seem to have somehow gotten a few words in there that are now the default when certain key combinations are pressed, but the words are just random letters. If i type in 'hey' it used to say hey, but now defaults to 'ifx'.

Slightly annoying me now..,must have done it when slightly drink i think.

I know you can do hard and soft resets, would one of these sort it? How do you do them?

Cheers 😊

You can but if you just type it then correct it with * a few times it will learn to give you that option first.

if you did for some reason want to totally reset you predictive text you need to get shut of your .dat file in C:\Predic ... so its a simple browse with a file browser and delete process from memory... no need to hard reset everything just cause of a dictionary muck up.
