I'm new user of symbian os and Nokia n73. i want to buy memory card for my phone. i know that miniSD is only available in 2GB max. i was thinking of buying microSD to miniSD adapter and 8GB micro SD card. does anyone have any experience with adapter like this one and can tell me if it is going to work?
Many thanks in advance
i've never seen anything like it, but i might be wrong.
but before you buy an 8gb card, read some other posts about memory issues with n73. as far as i know from experience, n73 is ok with up to 2gb(i have 2gb running fine on my n73). but it definitely created lots of issues with cards more than 2gb, according to other people.
i would like to post link to the adapter but as I'm a new to this forum i'm unable to do that but if you are interestead go to www dot mobymemory dot com and look for memory card adapters in left hand side menu.
Cards above 2GB will not work on N73. Cards from 4GB upwards are SDHC.

Oh man 😡
I have a N73 which is upgraded to M73 ME (latest firmware), does anyone know if any higher SD cards are supported by the ME?
2GB is maximum on N73 & N73ME. Even if you manage to buy a non-SDHC card as advertised recently on ebay, it will not be reliable.
Of course Nokia may later on allow larger card's with a firmware update, but I doubt it.
