n95 8gb navigation problems

ok... i m located in canada just got a n95 8gb from the US

i got signal from the satletlites but everytime i try to press navigate to a certain address... it pops up "connect to check free licence availibility or purchase one" so i connected via my wireless router and it says updating and operation failed and another screen pops up saying to purchase the voice navigation and again connection error and i m just back on the map

navigation comes at an extra cost. what you can do for free is plan routes or track your current position. i own the n95 classic and i'm from canada as well. i think they took out the 'start tracking' feature on the new nokia maps app so SoL on this one.

what you're seeing is correct, basically with the N95 and Nokia maps application you get the software free which lets you see where you are, you get the maps for free, but if you want to have voice guided directions and navigation then you have to pay a fee, dependent on how long you want to have it for, like 5 for a week and upwards. some people like this way of doing things, others dont.

oh ok... screw it then... i just got route66 working so i will bear wit it....
