hi guys

i just got a nokia n95 from ebay product code 0548986 (asian) is it possible to format the operating system and put a more user friendly one on as i cant seem to find many functions if so whats best to connect to vista .. any help tips and advice on this would be great

also im using my old orange payg simm , do i need to change anything with them

I really don't think any mobile OS is more user friendly than Symbian but it may just be that you aren't used to it. I connect mine to my Vista desktop all the time using PC suite and bluetooth. Lets me browse the phone memory and card just like a I would the local hard drive and because it uses bluetooth it automatically connects as soon as I am within range. Very handy

Symbian OS is pretty friendly... if you want more friendly you may have to wait till Google releases its phone OS. 😉

Takes a bit of getting used to symbian if its your first phone... but it soon feels easy 😃

the symbian OS can be a bit tricky if it's your first go at using it, but it doesnt take long to get the full hang of things, give it a bit longer and you should be fine with it and you can then reap the benefits of all the apps and stuff that's available for it 😃

Yeah, your best bet is to just get used to the basics first and get in good habits (like closing apps when finished rather than pressing the hang up or menu buttons which leave things running).
Once you get used to things you will get deeper into it and reap the benefits of the widest used mobile OS
