Wireless IRC and Undernet

Hi all

I have a trial version of wIRC 5.something (may not be the latest one, I found it on a "7650" folder of my PC :P) and I tried installing it again and I wanted to connect.

I can connect to some servers, but I cannot connect to undernet servers. Why is this behaviour? Do I have to set something up?

anybody out there using this app? How do you feel about it after "intensive" usage? I tried it some time ago, and now I'd be really tempted to buy it... if only I could get it to connect to the only server I use regularly to chat (and the one where #allaboutsymbian is 😉)

thanks to everybody 😉

I can connect to undernet using the demo version of Wireless IRC. My undernet server is us.undernet.org. I've noticed Undernet sometimes doesn't connect you straight away, and you gotta keep trying and trying (even with mIRC). So just saying it's all good over here, with no other settings, just some persistance. 😃

Would be nice to get rid of the 10kb MOTD (message of the day) though..

Ive tried the trial ver of WIRC 1.5, i think. Yea, i got the same problem. Try adding more servers. If you have a MIRC, just copy the servers and their port. Somtimes you get disconnect from other servers coz its congested or other resons. better to add quite a few so that you have more options. I think its better to add those server which are not so used or not so congested. 😊 hope that works for you.
