i keep getting "application cannot be installed to the phone. not enough memory available" every time i install something now.
i guess the obvious thing to do is to free up some memory, but whats the best way to do this? it says i have 1180kb of free memory.
all my apps and games are installed on my 1gig mem card.

You should install all apps and any games that will to the phone mem. They will run quicker and the phone will be more stable.
Also close open apps when finished to free up operating RAM.
If you installed everthing to the mem card then all the phone mem should be available.

i've got a decent mem card, so never had a problem with speed or crashes. some apps i'll install to the phone memory, but only things like a file manager and taskman. i dont like keeping htings on the phone in case it goes tits up and i loose everything.
i close all apps when finished too, which is why i'm confused. cant see why there would be no free memory :con?
