POP/SMPTP ports on N70

Hi,

using the built in e-mail client in N70, is there any way to change the POP3/SMPTP ports?

I've tried to access my yahoo account, but failed as yahoo requires SMTP port 995 and POP3 port 465 (for SSL) 😡

Any help are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It is possible, however you need to have the POP3 option activated in your Yahoo mail. Select the mailbox which you have defined then go to Options -> Edit -> Connection settings -> Incoming/Outgoing mail. Inside of those options there is a field in which you can edit the port number.

I can't find the settings that way. I've tried every possible menu option, but it just aint there. I have the latest firmware according to Nokia Updater, so what am i doing wrong? 😮

Thanks again!

Messages -> Options -> Settings -> Email -> highlight the account and then the path written above.
