n73 problems, please help!

Apologies if this is a repeat thread, but I can't see any actual solution anywhere to a couple of problems I'm having with my N73. I tried this on the Nokia site, but no joy.

1 - Custom ringtones. For some reason, the phone refuses to play anything I now upload to it. This wasn't the case at the start, but for the last few months. I've tried different file formats (wav, mp3 etc) of varying lengths (5-60 secs) and tried playing them from both the memory card and the phone memory. I've moved them to several different folders and it still doesn't help. Tried removing the MMC altogether, still nothing. I've upgraded firmware to 3.0638.0.0.1, still nothing. Tried resetting the phone and MMC, still nothing.

2 - Ungodly send times. When I send a normal SMS, the screen freezes for anything up to 30 seconds. At the start, this didn't occur, it just would say sending for 1-2 seconds then the sending icon in the top right would appear and the phone was free for any use. My inbox has been emptied, all other mailboxes too. Any ideas?

3 - Camera load time. Now this has always been slow, so I suspect it's just a general flaw of the phone, but is there any way to speed it up?

Is there any solutions or legit patches available? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I've tried the firmware updater a few times to get the 4.07xxxxxxx firmware, but apparently with my product code/IMEI, it'll only allow me up to 3.068.0.0.1. Is there any way to get a newer one? Is there any way to upgrade (without voiding warranty/illegaly) to the music edition?

I really don't want to send it off, as my SIM is non-transferrable with my network and I need my phone on a daily basis. Thanks!
