Well I know we all hope this was true but the fact is that we havent got a cure for cancer. However, the thing we CAN do is assist in finding this cure. There is a program of the "distributed computing" kind that uses your computers proccessing power when it is idle to search for this cure. The results of this analisys are sent to the server. Such programs existed in the past and I was a user of SETI (Search for Extra Terestrial Intelligence) however, instead of searching for something that is not so important I switched to this one. I hope some of you do the same and join too. More info here.

Already have it installed. However, maybe the SETI one would be a better option. If we do the cancer one the result is we have a cure for cancer, if we do SETI, we find aliens who may already have a cure for cancer, so we get a 2 for the price of 1 😉
Yeah maybe if we find Aliens, they might find us too and destroy us and we all going to die and then there will be no one with cancer anyways! Never though of that! Thanx 😃 😃 😃
