I just thinking to swap from E90 to N95 8Gb, I am a Business Man and Always Carry My Laptop with me carry 2 phones and E90 with 6300, so i am little confused to buy N95 or not?

Is Really Worthful swaping from e90 to N95 Gb

Well, thats up to you.

What do you use on your E90? Do you like the qwerty keyboard, or can do without and want a smaller phone?

You can put an 8GB memory card in the E90 anyway, so thats the memory difference sorted.

Do you want the 5MP camera or are you happy with the 3.2 one you have?

Its up to you in what you would need and want, as some people like qwerty keyboards, and some prefer the smaller phone ones.

The main points are:

Better camera

Smaller form facter

Different keypad

A few other minor differences.

I can't answer that as I've no idea what 'worthful' means. If it is like worthwhile then the answer is yes 😊

Sorry, I'm something of a grammar nazi round these parts

if you're depreciating your e90 .. then you probably need to sell it off .. heck you might make enough to buy a 95 8G model.
the 95 8G is smaller and lighter .. so thats less to carry around.
as others have mentioned though if you need a keyboard .. then the additional weight and bulk of a bluetooth keyboard means the e90 wins that battle.

economics vs practicality I'm afraid the only one who can decide is you! 😊

Apart from the camera, the E90 is probably a better phone hardware-wise; it has the QWERTY keyboard, large internal screen, microSDHC expansion (which you can now get 8GB cards for, so no reason to switch to N95 8GB for that) and it has 128MB RAM, which removes the prime reason to switch from an N95 to N95 8GB.

However, it's also not a very practical phone because it's so large and heavy; if you want a phone that will fit more comfortably in your pocket, and you don't need the QWERTY keyboard because you have your laptop, then it might be a good idea to switch.

I sold my E90 and got the N95 8GB, prefer the smaller size, less weight, much better camera, seems to work faster. Got myself a bluetooth keyboard for longers emails on the run.

E90 battery is much better though, and a more solid phone.

Happy with my decision though.

Like Berty I have just switched from my E90 to the N95 8GB, having originally switched from the original N95.

Aside from the fact that I quite obviously have a very low boredom threshhold, only seeming to last about 2 months with any one phone (as my wife keeps moaning at me about!) my main reason for changing to the E90 was I had a vague hope of being able to leave my laptop at home on my frequent business trips (2 or 3 a month), and carry all me email and office docs on my E90.

Whilst it is a great phone, and so nearly there, the reality was I found by my second trip that I just couldnt go completely laptop free (I think Steve wrote an article with a similar conclusion a little while back). The E90 is so nearly there but not quite.

Consequently my main reason for carrying a bit of a brick of a phone around me (as in I could loose the even bigger brick of a laptop) was gone, hense I am back to a truely pocket sized phone and have accepted that for the time being at least I will have to take my laptop away on business trips.

PS Oh how I wish for those old days of Psion when I used to manage all my email completely on my palmtop. I love the age of broadband, youtube, skype, the world at my fingers, etc, but I cant help remembering how cool it was to hook up a Psion S3a to a 9600 kbs Psion modem and discover compuserve 5 lines at a time!!

Can someone tell me once and for all if there is TV-out on the E90??

hehe same here!

I had the original N95 from day 1 and then went to the E90 thinking it would be "the phone to end all phones". However, I realised my needs are more media oriented than business oriented and, while the E90 can do most of the media stuff, I found it not quite as accesible in some ways.

So now I am on the N95 8gb (well I will if/when I get a replacement back for the one I got with a loose slider!).

When I got the E90 I had the notion that it might the convergence device I had ben looking for such that I could do *everything* on it.

However, I realised that for a truly comfortable internet experience "on the move" I needed a laptop. I got a Fujitsu lifebook u810 which is a UMPC with both touchscreen and querty keyboard and I find this is a great compromise.

Hi all

Well i was getting an E90 again until 02 mucked it up, so have gone for the N95 8GB instead with a SU-8W as really wanted to see the difference Demand Paging makes. So far i am very happy with my choice especially as i have now debranded it to Generic Firmware.
