mp4 sound

wat about windmms video with sound??? that certainly does

h3r0's right... I've added sound to mp4 clips and it's played them.... unless it doesn't merge the sound/video, and stores it in a seperate file.

Has anyone managed to get an mp4 video that plays sound on both phone and pc?

Well Platform4 isnt the same as Mp4 with sound. In order to play a recorder mp4 with sound from VideoMMS you need Platform4 player.

So you're saying there is a big difference between some mp4s which are MPEG version/layer 4, and other mp4s which are Platform4 (a different file type?)?

Yes there is a big difference. Sound is encoded differently. In order to play sound you have to have the Platform4 player....everything else leaves the sound out and just plays the video.

i have the player that plays sound! but not if u send an mp4 clip to the fone.

I ment the Platform4 player for the PC. This plays sounds on the PC from the phone. MP4 that is not in the Platform4 codec format do not play sound on the phone.

As you can have .avi, .mpg with different codecs....so can you have mp4 with different codecs.

i see, well thats a bit crap. so is there any player that will let me play clips full screen with sound in any format?

Real One player does play Real Media video clips with sound.

but not full screen! 😞
