[N95 8G] Issue after update a vodaphone mobil

7 replies · 3,211 views · Started 24 November 2007

Hi

I made the update on my n95 8g and i m currently with the 11.0.026 version of the firmware.
But since i made this update i can't retrieve the option to change High speed Packet Access...
The word is still in the Help but not the option.
Is that a bug ? They moved the option ? Option not longer existed ?

Thanks to give me some answer

Yup

I have V11.

Tools > Settings > Connection > Packet data > Highspeed packet access

Hope it helps.

It IS an option as Ian-ross said in his post. You can turn the facility off in the menu he suggested

To OP I have just done the same, changed product code and updated and I still have it there, same place as it was before.

Question is, do you get the 3.5g symbol when you connect or just the 3g symbol in an area where you would normally get 3.5g

Steve

I dont see that option on my EURO2 N95 8GB.
I am abroad at the moment and there is no 3G here.

Thanks Tomo71 you were right!
I move to a 3G(I don't know if London is cover by 3.5G) area and the option magically appears 😊

Thank You

Have a look on the voda page for coverage, it lists 3g and enhanced coverage.

Steve

I live in a 3.5G area but my phone shows 3G until I connect to the web and then it changes to 3.5G.
